Thresholds and Community_Name are selected to be loaded to Cisco78 and

the conﬁguration CommunityName is selected to be loaded to Cisco80.

4. Select one or more device speciﬁc conﬁgurations for each device:

• If you want one conﬁguration, select that conﬁguration. It will be

loaded to the device listed above it. The pre-selected device’s

conﬁguration should already be selected, but you can deselect that one

if you want to load a different one in the selected landscape.

• If you want to load more than one conﬁguration, select those

conﬁgurations. They will be loaded, on a one to one basis, to each device

listed above each conﬁguration:

- To select all the conﬁgurations, either click on the Select All button

or click on the ﬁrst conﬁguration, hold down the Shift key, and then

click on the last conﬁguration.

- To select a series of speciﬁc conﬁgurations, click on the ﬁrst

conﬁguration, hold down the Control key and then click on the

other conﬁgurations you want.

When you select more than one conﬁguration at the same time, the

Conﬁguration Information and Detail sections of the Main window

become blank.

5. Click on the Load button (or select the Load menu option).

When you click on Load, ECM displays a question box asking you to

conﬁrm the load and to check the load settings.

6. Check/specify the load settings and click Yes.

In the question box, if desired, select “Rollback on Load Failure (Safe

Load)” or “Store Device Conﬁguration Before Load” or both. Then, click on

the Yes button to start the load operation. Once you conﬁrm the load,

ECM loads the conﬁguration to the selected device(s) and then displays a

Load Results window similar to those in Figure 5-4 on Page 5-19.

7. View results summary.

The Load Results window displays a single line summary for each device

loaded, listing “Fully Loaded,” “Partially Loaded,” “Rolled Back,” or “Not

Loaded,” depending on the situation. The following ﬁgure illustrates the

Load Results window, ﬁrst with the Safe Load option selected for Off and

then with it On.
